Each question is designed to determine the placement level of your student. Each student should try to answer as many questions as they can. If you do not know how to solve a particular problem, skip it. The more answers you get correct the higher you will place.

Select the course you believe you are ready for and take that test. Passing that test with an 80% or better means you are well ready for it. If you make less than 70% you may want to consider taking the course level below that one. You may always take the placement test below it just to be sure.
