Free Videos
Videos for each course are freely available for anyone who wants to use them. They follow the textbook and provide additional explanation for each step in solving example problems and the math theory behind the solution process. No purchase required. Simply click on the Free Video link in the About menu above, select the course you need, and then click on the video you want to watch.
Enrolled Courses
Each user must create an account to access courses. Parents should click “Register as a parent” when setting up their account. This allows the parent to add students, with or without an email address, and link them to any courses they have purchased. A course must be purchased for a student to be linked to it. This also provides the parent with access to all of their students’ progress on the parent dashboard. Individuals who sign up only for themselves will see all the courses they have purchased on the student dashboard.

Lessons
Each course has a specific number of lessons. Lessons are divided into weekly assignments for easier planning. Each week contains five assignments at 1 per day.
Each lesson starts with a video that explains the math theory or solution process for the concept being taught. After each video, there is a summary for each topic in the lesson that offers additional written explanation. At the end of the written topic explanations, there is a homework assignment designed to give practice and promote mastery.
Homework
Practice sets include at least 15 problems. After the student enters each solution, the answer is checked. If correct, the problem is marked green in the summary table; incorrect answers are marked red. Students may click RESTART after completing a practice set to rework the problems. A score of 75% or higher allows them to move on to the next lesson. The average of all homework sets counts for 60% of their overall grade. When a student completes a problem set, an email is sent to the parent recording the score. This helps parents stay informed about their student’s progress. Students may rework homework until the desired level of mastery has been achieved.
Reviews
Beginning the second week of lessons, a quiz will evaluate progress every four or five lessons. Answers for these weekly quizzes are not checked until the entire set of problems is complete. Incorrect answers are indicated, but solutions are not provided. Successful completion of each review requires a 75% or higher score. Students may retake quizzes until they reach their desired grade and mastery level. The average of these review quizzes counts for 25% of their overall grade.
Final Exam
At the end of each course, there is a final exam that assesses everything they have learned. This test accounts for 15% of their overall grade. It may be retaken only once.
Challenge Exams
Students have access to a challenge exam at the beginning of the course. This exam is optional and availability goes away once they start the course. It allows students to verify they are in the right course and if they pass the assessment, the student can be upgraded by request to the next course level at no additional charge.

Student Dashboard
Enrolled students have a profile page that shows courses and current grades. Students must log in to access their dashboard. This page allows quick access to where they left off by simply clicking on the course title. Students can also view each score for every graded assignment in the report card located below their enrolled courses. This report card also offers a quick link to any completed assignment they want to redo. Redoing their assignments is encouraged because it helps students master concepts by correcting their own mistakes. Assignments are not shown or calculated until they are submitted. Each assignment automatically saves progress every twenty seconds.
Parent Dashboard
The parent dashboard allows parents to add students to their account. It displays courses purchased and allows parents to link a student to each course purchased. Purchased courses come with thirteen months of access from date of purchase. The parent dashboard also provides a quick way to see student progress and achievements. Homework and review quizzes with scores of 85% or more are awarded certificates. Students can only see the certificate immediately after the successful completion of the quiz. Students can print or download a digital copy of the award. Parents can see that the certificate was awarded on the parent dashboard.
See the Help Videos in the About menu for more information on parent and student accounts and how to enroll in courses.
